The Department of Human Resources monitors and ensures compliance within the Unified Judicial System with state and federal employment statutes, maintains fringe benefit programs, counsels judicial personnel on the provisions and use of benefits and administers the employee leave accounting program and the UJS Unemployment Compensation and Workers Compensation programs.
The department also formulates and administers personnel policies and procedures; assists managers in recruiting, interviewing and hiring new staff; develops and administers AOPC hiring procedures, and formulates and administers position classification and pay plans for the UJS. In addition, the department monitors and administers the UJS performance management system and develops training curriculum, policies and procedures for judiciary personnel.
